How it works with TD Bank
- TD hasn't published its full issue file layout, so you set the field order, date format and void code to match your own TD upload profile.
- Locked to TD's published limits: payee names up to 40 characters, amounts with a decimal point and no commas, no more than $99,999,999.99, file names up to 32 characters, and .csv or .txt files.
- A payee name with a comma is put in quotes, as TD requires for delimited files.

Set it up once at TD Bank
- In TD eTreasury, go to File Services, then Standard File Uploads, then Manage and Create Profile.
- Click Create Upload Profile. Name the profile, choose Delimited, and click Next.
- Map each field to the column number shown in your layout, in the same order.
- Leave "Add 2 decimal places to amounts" unchecked. Your file's amounts already include the decimal point.
- Pick the same date format and, if you send voids, the same void code as your layout. Then click Next, review and click Submit Profile.
- To send a file: go to File Services, then Standard File Uploads, then Manage File Uploads. Click Upload File, choose your profile, browse to the file and click Upload.
- In the Uploads List, check the box next to the file and click Transmit. TD doesn't receive the file until you click Transmit.
Note: Send a test file to TD Bank first
Before your first live file, download the free test file with your first 3 checks, send it to TD Bank, and confirm it was accepted.
BankFileKit can't guarantee that TD Bank will accept a file.
